Welcome to the Rosewood Farms shop. Here we sell produce derived from Rosewood Farms & carefully selected small local producers in the Lower Derwent Valley & surrounding areas of Yorkshire, so you can be assured that every product featured is up to our own standards of quality & ecology. We have also teamed up with River Cottage, in Dorset, to be one of the few stockists of River Cottage products in the North of England. Obviously we will not be stocking that can be produced close to home, however, the River Cottage books and dvds provide a wealth of information about sourcing & producing your own food and are a great accompaniment to our products. Our status an an independant producer/retailer limits the supply to finite levels, so certain products may require ordering or delivery schedules to be followed. Opening TimesAs an online farm shop we do not have a permanently staffed retail outlet, however you are always welcome to visit or collect any product by prior arrangement, please contact us. By the end of July 2008 we hope to have completed our on farm butchery & all pre-ordered produce will be available to collect from the farm. We will also keep a limited stock of frozen meat produce on hand. Not all products are currently listed & new lines are constantly in development so if there is anything you are particularly looking for, please contact us to discuss your requirements & we will do our best to supply you or offer an alternative suggestion.
Our commitment to ensuring that you get the best from the produce supplied by Rosewood Farms has led to the establishment of an online database of all our & your favourite recipes using our products: Rosewood Farms Recipe Resource. Where possible we use reusable/recyclable packaging to despatch your goods. If you would like to return packaging (including glass jars) we can reuse it & reduce our impact upon the planet. Reusing packaging also helps to reduce the cost & enable us to pass savings on to the customer. Please note: We cannot accept credit card payments over the telephone, though we do employ the secure payment methods of NOCHEX and Paypal.
